us to build your home? Well, we have been here more
than 17 years building homes on Kiawah and the surrounding
areas - and we are here to stay! A family business,
we take pride in our reputation for standing behind
the homes we build, and for the unmatched quality
that goes into each one. What makes us the happiest

The Team Approach
Steve has trained a
valuable staff that works together to make sure
your home takes top priority in our office. In the
field, Steve has a trained Project Manager on-site,
every day. The Project Manager is only as good as
his or her backup in the office, so we have also
assigned to your job a Construction Coordinator,
who keeps schedules, billing, and orders under control.
You also have a Selections Coordinator, who can
organize and walk you through the hundreds of decisions
and selections involved in building a home. This
team is backed up by an accounting and marketing
staff that are here to make sure that you and your
home get personal attention every day.

to us. Not only are we a family business, but we
consider our clients to be a very special part of
our lives. We have been a part of building on Kiawah
and Seabrook since 1985 and have built over 100
homes here. More importantly, however, we have built
relationships here. We are always

Quality Standards
Through the years, Steve
has developed criteria for building on the islands
that surpass standard methods of construction in
many ways. Now, many of these techniques are widely
used among the local builders and have even been
adopted as building codes in some cases. Steven
J. Koenig Construction is constantly looking for
new methods and standards that will benefit our
clients and set a pace for the industry.
We have organized these quality standards into a
set of guidelines that our subcontractors have to
follow - a set of standards that they must meet
to be able to say that they build with Steven J
Koenig Construction.
